(Fading Emeralds -}
{2003-09-08} {12:38 p.m.}

As I look at the sun
The hours pass
Day by day
Turning into weeks
Spinning; hooked on calendar months
Memories come and go
And I think of my past
I still see her and remember the words
Lashings of the tongue
That pierced and damaged
She intened to hurt and dent
Not my ego, but my pride
I hope she's found delight in the humility
Of the whole thing
For I am no longer in one piece; complete
Precedent to the history
Of what went before her obsession
Contorting everything in her path
Her conceited arrogance
The self-importance of her satisfaction
Her pleasure to destroy and annihilate
Everything inside of me
That made me, created me what I am
I've become silent, almost motionless
Frozen in the static
Permanent stagnant vocabulary
Ruining my personality
That is now hushed and soundless
I am wiped out as I face defeat
As her words claw
At the inner most part of me
While the diamonds in my heart
Fall to the ground and evaporate
Turning into moon flowers
